1. Scope and Who This Policy Applies To

REI Rev operates a lead-generation and lead-delivery service, and this Privacy Policy applies primarily to two groups:

(a) Lead Buyers

Real estate investors, wholesalers, home buyers, and other businesses or professionals who purchase Lead Packs, receive Leads from REI Rev, communicate with our team, or otherwise use our Services.

(b) Consumers Who Submit Information Through Our Lead-Generation Properties

Homeowners, prospective property sellers, and other consumers who submit contact, property, or other information through landing pages, forms, surveys, advertisements, or other lead-generation properties operated by or on behalf of REI Rev.

Information submitted by these consumers may be verified, qualified, packaged, and sold or transferred to a Lead Buyer as part of our core business.

If you are a consumer who submitted information through one of our landing pages, forms, surveys, or advertisements, please pay particular attention to Sections 4, 6, 7, 11, and 12, which describe how your information is collected, shared, sold, and how you may exercise applicable privacy rights.

This Privacy Policy does not cover the privacy practices of Lead Buyers after they receive a Lead from us. Once a Lead is delivered to a Lead Buyer, that Lead Buyer is responsible for its handling of the information under its own privacy practices and applicable law.

2. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy reflects the most recent revision.

Material changes may be communicated through a notice on our website or, where we have your email address on file, by email.

Your continued use of the Services after an updated Privacy Policy is posted constitutes acceptance of the changes to the extent permitted by applicable law.

(d) Internet and Network Activity

Browsing and interaction information relating to our Services, including referring URLs, pages viewed, time on page, clicks, form interactions, advertisement interactions, and similar engagement data.

Where applicable and lawfully deployed, this may include information collected through session-recording, consent-verification, or similar technologies.

(h) Professional Information

For Lead Buyers, we may collect business name, role or title, business address, business telephone number, business email address, market information, and similar business-related information.

(i) Financial Information

Payment information processed through our payment processor, billing history, transaction information, and related records.

We do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems when payment information is processed directly by our payment processor.

We do not knowingly seek to collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, government-issued identification numbers, biometric information, health information, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or union membership through our ordinary Services.

If such information is voluntarily submitted to us, we will handle it in accordance with applicable law and our information-security practices.

4. How We Collect Personal Information

We collect personal information from the following sources:

(a) Directly From You

When you purchase a Lead Pack, submit a contact form, request information, book a call, communicate with our team, respond to a survey, submit a replacement request, or otherwise interact with the Services.

(b) From Consumer-Facing Landing Pages, Forms, and Advertisements

When a consumer submits information through a landing page, survey, advertisement, lead form, website form, or other property operated by or on behalf of REI Rev for the purpose of requesting information regarding the potential sale of a property.

(c) Automatically Through Cookies and Tracking Technologies

As described in Section 9.

(d) From Our Payment Processor

Our payment processor may provide us with limited transaction information necessary to confirm payments, administer purchases, manage disputes or chargebacks, maintain accounting records, and prevent fraud.

(e) From Advertising and Analytics Platforms

We may receive information from advertising and analytics platforms through which we advertise or measure advertising performance, including platforms such as Meta and Google.

These platforms may provide aggregated information and, where permitted, individual-level engagement or conversion information subject to their own privacy policies.

(f) From Public Records and Third-Party Data Providers

We may supplement or verify information using publicly available property records, county records, listing information, public databases, and third-party data providers for purposes such as verifying property ownership, validating Lead information, preventing fraud, or improving Lead quality.

(g) From Lead Buyers

Lead status information, communications, replacement requests, dispute information, feedback, and other information provided by Lead Buyers may contain information regarding an underlying consumer Lead.

5. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

(a) To Operate the Services

Including processing Lead Pack purchases, delivering Leads, managing Lead Buyer markets and Lead criteria, providing customer support, administering replacement requests, and operating our business.

(b) To Generate, Verify, Qualify, and Deliver Leads

Information submitted by consumers through landing pages, forms, surveys, or advertisements is collected for the purpose of generating, verifying, qualifying, and delivering seller Leads to Lead Buyers.

Consumers may be advised at the point of collection that their information may be shared with a real estate investor, home buyer, wholesaler, or other applicable Lead Buyer who may contact them by telephone, text message, email, or other permitted means.

(c) To Document Consent and Comply With Communications Laws

Where applicable, we may use consent-verification, form-recording, logging, or similar technologies to document the time, source, page, and content associated with a consumer's submission and consent to be contacted.

This information may be used to support compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act ("TCPA"), Do Not Call requirements, and other applicable communications and privacy laws.

(d) To Communicate With You

Including transactional emails, appointment communications, service notifications, support responses, marketing communications where permitted, and SMS messages where authorized.

(e) To Improve and Develop the Services

Including analytics, testing, fraud detection, security monitoring, Lead-quality improvement, advertising optimization, and development of our Services.

(f) For Marketing and Advertising

We may use information for advertising, conversion measurement, audience building, retargeting, and marketing directed toward Lead Buyers and prospective Lead Buyers.

Where permitted, hashed or pseudonymized identifiers may be provided to advertising platforms for these purposes.

(g) To Comply With Law and Enforce Our Agreements

Including responding to legal process, complying with regulatory obligations, investigating fraud or misuse, enforcing our Terms of Service, Lead Purchase Agreement, Refund and Lead Replacement Policy, and protecting our rights, property, users, and business.

6. How We Share Personal Information

We may share personal information in the following ways:

(a) With Lead Buyers — Sale of Consumer Lead Information

Our core business involves collecting and selling consumer Lead information, including contact information, property information, and inquiry details, to Lead Buyers who purchase Leads from REI Rev.

Unless otherwise disclosed or agreed, an REI Rev Lead sold as an exclusive Lead is delivered by REI Rev to one Lead Buyer and is not intentionally resold by REI Rev to another Lead Buyer.

The sale or transfer of consumer Lead information may constitute a "sale" of personal information under certain state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA").

See Section 12 for applicable opt-out rights.

(b) With Service Providers and Processors

We may share information with service providers that assist us in operating our business, including:

Website and hosting providers
Payment processors
CRM providers
Email and SMS providers
Customer-support providers
Analytics providers
Advertising and conversion-measurement providers
Consent-verification providers
Fraud-prevention and security providers
Data-verification providers
Other vendors necessary to operate the Services

These providers may process personal information on our behalf subject to applicable contractual and legal restrictions.

(c) With Advertising Platforms

We may share hashed, pseudonymized, or other permitted identifiers with advertising platforms such as Meta and Google for advertising delivery, conversion measurement, attribution, retargeting, and audience building.

Depending on applicable law and the nature of the activity, this may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or "targeted advertising."

See Section 12 for applicable opt-out rights.

(d) In Connection With Legal Process

We may disclose personal information in response to subpoenas, court orders, government investigations, regulatory inquiries, or other lawful process.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to investigate or prevent fraud or illegal activity, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of REI Rev, our users, Lead Buyers, consumers, or others.

(e) In Connection With a Business Transfer

In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, dissolution, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, personal information may be transferred to an acquiring, surviving, or successor entity.

(f) With Your Direction or Consent

We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or otherwise provide consent to the disclosure.

We do not knowingly sell, share, or disclose personal information of minors under the age of 16 in circumstances requiring affirmative authorization under applicable law.

7. Specific Disclosures Regarding Consumer Lead Generation

If you submit information through a landing page, form, advertisement, survey, or other property operated by or on behalf of REI Rev in connection with potentially selling your property, the following disclosures apply:

(a) Your Information May Be Sold and Shared

Your contact information, property information, and inquiry details may be sold, transferred, or otherwise provided to an applicable real estate investor, home buyer, wholesaler, or other Lead Buyer that purchases the Lead from REI Rev.

Unless otherwise disclosed at the point of collection, REI Rev's exclusive Leads are sold by REI Rev to one Lead Buyer.

This does not mean that a consumer is prohibited from independently contacting, receiving offers from, or doing business with other parties.

(b) You May Be Contacted by Phone, SMS, and Email

Depending on the consent language presented to you when you submit your information, you may authorize communications by telephone, SMS text message, email, and other disclosed communication methods.

Where applicable, the consent language displayed at the point of submission controls the scope of the consent provided.

(c) Consent May Be Documented

We may use technological records or third-party services to document information associated with your submission, including the date and time, source, page, IP address, information submitted, and consent language displayed at the time of submission.

(d) You May Revoke Consent or Opt Out

You may revoke applicable communications consent by using the opt-out method provided in the communication.

For SMS messages, you may reply STOP.

For marketing emails, you may use the unsubscribe link provided in the message.

You may also ask a caller to place you on its internal do-not-call list.

If your information has already been delivered to a Lead Buyer, an opt-out request submitted to REI Rev may not automatically revoke consent or communications permissions maintained separately by that Lead Buyer. You should also communicate your request directly to the Lead Buyer.

(e) You May Have State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have rights regarding access, deletion, correction, sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or other processing of your personal information.

See Section 12.

8. SMS and Text Messaging

When you provide a mobile telephone number and affirmatively consent to receive SMS or MMS messages from REI Rev, you may receive transactional and, where separately authorized, marketing messages from us.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages and HELP for assistance.

Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing REI Rev's Services.

We do not sell or transfer SMS opt-in data to third parties for the independent purpose of those third parties sending unrelated marketing messages.

This restriction does not prohibit the transfer of consumer Lead information to the applicable Lead Buyer where the consumer submitted the information for the purpose of being connected with a potential property buyer and the transfer is consistent with the consent language presented at the point of collection.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies, including pixels, tags, web beacons, scripts, and similar technologies, to operate our Services, remember preferences, measure performance, analyze traffic, deliver advertising, measure conversions, prevent fraud, and document consumer submissions.

Categories may include:

(a) Strictly Necessary Technologies

Technologies required for the Services to function, including security, form submission, authentication, and basic website functionality.

(b) Performance and Analytics

Technologies that help us understand how users interact with our websites, forms, advertisements, and Services.

These may include Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar technologies where deployed.

(c) Functional Technologies

Technologies used to remember settings, preferences, or previous selections.

(d) Advertising and Targeting

Technologies used to measure advertising performance, attribute conversions, retarget audiences, or deliver advertising.

These may include Meta, Google, and similar advertising technologies.

(e) Consent Verification and Submission Documentation

We may use technologies designed to document the source, timing, content, and consent associated with consumer Lead submissions.

Depending on the technology deployed, this may include page information, IP address, timestamps, form interactions, and the consent language displayed at submission.

Managing Cookies

Most browsers permit users to block, delete, or restrict cookies through browser settings.

Restricting cookies may cause portions of the Services to function improperly.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional mechanisms for exercising rights relating to targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or similar tracking activities.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Where required by applicable law, we honor recognized Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signals as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

We do not currently respond to other browser-based "Do Not Track" signals unless required by applicable law.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with applicable law, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, prevent fraud, and defend legal claims.

Depending on the type of information, retention may include:

Lead Buyer information: For the duration of the business relationship plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute purposes.
Consumer Lead information: For the period necessary to generate, verify, qualify, deliver, administer, and document the Lead, plus a reasonable period afterward to support consent records, replacement administration, legal compliance, and defense of claims.
Transaction and billing records: For the period required by applicable tax, accounting, payment, and legal requirements.
Consent records: For the period reasonably necessary or required by applicable law to document the consumer's submission and consent.
Marketing and analytics information: For as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as otherwise permitted by law.

We may retain information for longer periods where required by law, court order, regulatory requirement, investigation, litigation hold, or another legitimate business purpose.

11. Data Security

We maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized access, and unauthorized disclosure.

These safeguards may include access controls, secure transmission technologies, vendor management, authentication controls, and monitoring.

No information-security system is completely secure.

We therefore cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or stored by us.

In the event of a security breach affecting personal information, we will provide notifications as required by applicable law.

12. State Privacy Rights

Depending on the state in which you reside and whether the applicable law applies to REI Rev or the processing activity at issue, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.

These may include:

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf where permitted by applicable law and subject to appropriate verification.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Sale and Sharing of Consumer Lead Information

Because REI Rev's business involves selling consumer Lead information to Lead Buyers, residents of states providing applicable opt-out rights may have the right to opt out of the sale of their personal information.

Where required by law, we will honor verified opt-out requests and recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals.

An opt-out request does not retroactively retrieve or delete information that was lawfully transferred to a Lead Buyer before the request was received.
